Joseph Haydn Wine "Surprise" with Book and CD

The wine series was inspired by the wonderful music of the famous composer Joseph Haydn, who savoured wine
 as both delight and muse. For this series, only the finest grapes harvested from the Haydnstadt (Eisenstadt) vineyards,
have been pressed. A fruity Chardonnay (a world-renowned quality wine sort), a cuvee of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir,
plus a noble sweet wine, Ruländer Ausbruch – a specialty of our region – make up this outstanding series.

"Surprise" - Chardonnay 2005

“Falstaff” premiered (introduced)

Gentle light yellow colour with a slight green tint, aroma suggestive of stone-fruit, a taste of melons and pears on the palate,
well-balanced acidity structure, lingering flavour of lemon.
Dry, 13 Vol% Alcohol

"Surprise" - Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir

Middle ruby garnet colour, middleweight berry-like taste reminiscent of ripe cherries.
Dry, 13 Vol % Alcohol

"Surprise" - Ruländer Ausbruch 2004

Golden yellow, delicately sweet, elegant acidity structure and long storage stability.
Sweet, 10,5 Vol % Alcohol
